After reading Drew's post about tourism and how it can help states generate income to fix roads and invest more money on schools I think this form of advertising is nothing, but positive. Last summer I was at a complete lost of where to find an internship and than on television I saw and advertisement about Florida and all the wonderful things it has to offer. After seeing the commercial I took action and decided to get an internship with a healthcare company in Tampa, Florida. If I had never seen the ad about visiting Florida on the television I would have never even considered doing an internship down there. The way the camera portrayed Florida made it seem so appealing and just exactly what I needed.
